The weakly acidic absorption solution is used to collect trimethylamine from fixed pollution source exhaust gas. After neutralization with alkaline solution, the headspace injection gas chromatography FID detector is used to analyze trimethylamine in organized exhaust gas for detection and analysis. This method can meet the requirements of national and local standards for trimethylamine emission limits.
This standard is applicable to the determination of trimethylamine in the exhaust gas of odor pollution sources and the ambient air of factories. When the sampling volume is 10L, the minimum detectable concentration of the method is 2.5-3 × 10mg/m3. This standard determines the presence of trimethylamine in a gaseous state. The amine compounds such as ammonia, methylamine, ethylamine, and dimethylamine in the sample do not interfere with the determination of trimethylamine under the chromatographic conditions selected in this method.
