Results The method for measuring the amount of methanol contained in the third supplement to the 2010 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia had problems in the actual operation of unreasonable headspace sampling equilibrium time and split ratio settings. Conclusion The balance time should be prolonged and the ratio of shunt ratio should be increased to better use it in actual inspection work.
